Which words means "to gather together"?

The correct answer is A: Assemble. To assemble means to gather together or bring together. The word "assemble" directly conveys the action of gathering things or people in one place. Choice B, Semblance, means resemblance or outward appearance, not gathering. Choice C, Assembly, refers to a group of people gathered together for a specific purpose, not the act of gathering itself.
