3 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms
Off Site Surgery Center

What will you be doing?

Obtains a complete nursing assessment on all patients.
Responsible for ongoing clinical management of the patient, promotes and participates in patient education and teaching and administers medications, and IV therapy, and performs venipunctures.
Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the surgical services department.
Maintains accurate and legible documentation to ensure accountability for assessments and patient plan of care and accurate patient charging.
Pursues own professional growth through continuing education and in-services and provides leadership.
Communicates effectively and professionally with peers, supervisors, ancillary departments and all other external/internal customers.
Demonstrates flexibility to perform other functions within Surgical Services and procedural areas to assist in the smooth operation of the departments and maintain competencies as appropriate.
Adheres to hospital policies and procedures; supports the mission of the hospital.

What qualifications you will need:

Experience in an acute care facility or similar clinical area
RN – Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices or holds active compact state licensure
Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
