Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department of Cardiopulmonary Services. You will work with professional employees of the hospital and with physicians, patients, and their families. Unlock the possibilities in your career by joining a team that cares like family!

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate clinical proficiency in all areas of respiratory therapy including basic knowledge of bedside assessment, proper use of equipment, and mastery with patient driven protocols.
• You will be proficient with common respiratory disease management for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients in acute and alternate care settings.
• You will have excellent leadership abilities.
• You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

What qualifications you will need:

• 3 years' experience as a respiratory therapist in an acute neonatal/pediatric patient care setting
• Neonatal/Pediatric critical care experience required
• Current BLS/NRP/PALS/ACLS required

• NPS Certification Preferred

• RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelors Degree

• Shift Requirements: Working Supervisor on Nightshift, 36 hours with alternating weekends

• Skills: Shift Lead. Effective leadership abilities, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
