Resort Lifestyle Communities is accepting applications for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work at our Corporate Office located in Lincoln, Nebraska. As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will provide accounting assistance to the Accounting Department with a primary focus on data entry and expenditure processing for Community Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Accounts Payable – Review expenditure coding and approve invoices/credit card transactions. Assist with data entry to help ensure complete financial records and timely vendor payments. Respond to vendor and Community Manager inquiries. Resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
Community Accounting – Assist with Community check requests and monthly culinary invoice reconciliations. Support Community Accountants in completing month-end financial statements within established deadlines.
General Office and Accounting Duties – Answer the telephone, route invoices, assist with tax jurisdiction payments, and prepare accounting entries.
Proficient company software utilization – Including: Sage 300 accounting modules, general ledger, accounts payable, property management and cash management applications; Timberscan, Concur, AvidXchange and Procurement Partners.

Opportunities for cross-training include compliance, analysis, month-end financials, and payroll.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience in accounting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software including spreadsheets, word processing and database applications.
Ability to communicate effectively and learn quickly with little supervision.
Ability to learn new accounting processes for the option to eventually cross-train for additional accounting responsibilities.

Schedule and Benefits:

Work the following schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm at our Corporate Office located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
